App usage terms
All Mercantile Apps are pursuant to Shopify’s Terms and Conditions agreed upon at download from the Shopify App Store unless otherwise noted.
All billing is handled by your Shopify subscription.
The “Apps” provides a data-centric array of tools to administer and/or automate various workflows as an as-is microservice, “the Service” to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account as per the permissions granted granted during the installation process. Personal Information the App Collects: shop and customer names, addresses, emails and phone numbers.
StockStream, Cohorts, Mercantile preorder, ScanPick and SplitOrder App personal data use purpose
SplitOrder and Mercantile Preorder processes personal data, such as customer addresses, names, email and phone numbers, for the purpose of displaying, filtering and administering the splitting of your fulfillments and orders.
ScanPick processes personal data, such as customer addresses, names, email and phone numbers, for the purpose of displaying and administering the picking, packing and fulfilling of your orders.
Cohorts and StockStream processes personal data, such as customer addresses, names, email and phone numbers, for the purpose of displaying, administering and filtering your segmented customer lists.
Embedded content from other websites
Elements on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
How do we use your personal information?
We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
How long we retain your data
If You delete your App from your Shopify Admin -> Apps page, then we will receive a redaction notice, and, within 48 hours your data will be destroyed. Otherwise, all Shopify related data (ie: products, sales) is retained for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username email). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you and or your customers, products and sales, including any other data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Your Rights If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
